Saudi-SEC installs longest aerial line at SR5.5bn worth


(MENAFN) Saudi Elect Co. (SEC) exposed that it has finished installation and operation of a number of elect transmission and interconnection projects in the kingdom at a whole cost of SR5.5bn.

Additionally, they involved 6 plants for transmission elects energy, 5 aerial lines for elect interconnection between a number of northern cities and regions.

Accordingly, the electric projects operated currently are considered as one of the hugest projects in the northern regions of the kingdom and will contribute to linking the northern regions of the kingdom.

The projects awarded in April and May of 2014, involved construction of six major plants, namely Waad Al Shamal Plant, Al Qurayyat Plant, Tabarjal Plant and others.
