MANAMA, 23rd May, 2017 (WAM) -- The 24th meeting of GCC Committee of the officials of Technical Education and Vocational Training has tackled the GCC strategic plans for education and vocational training amid the huge technological developments taking place in the sector.
According to the Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Fawzi Al-Jowder, the Education Ministry's Acting Under-Secretary for Educational and Curriculum Affairs of Bahrain, chaired the meeting which was held recently in Oman.
The meeting also touched on the qualification system and vocational testing standards, preparing skilled cadres to use technology and employ it to increase productivity, as well as intensifying the exchange of visits and expertise among GCC countries and promoting voluntary work in the field of education and vocational training.
