S. Korea to sell 200 buses to Myanmar


(MENAFN) South Korea's trade promotion agency revealed that the government intends to purchase 200 locally-made buses to Yangon, the biggest city of Myanmar, saying that the buses are estimated to be used in schools.

Moreover, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) the 29-seat New County buses, generated by Hyundai Motor Co., should be delivered to Myanmar during June.

On the other hand, KOTRA also revealed that this pact is considered as the country's first government-to-government (G2G) deal with an Asian country.

The school buses are expected to be used to carry students going to public schools, according to KOTRA.
