(MENAFN- Asia Times) Police are looking for a taxi driver and appealing for witnesses to a hit- and-run accident that saw a garage worker thrown 15 meters in Mong Kok in Yau Tsim Mong District early on Saturday morning.
At 4.10am, a vehicle hit Lui Yiu-tong, 60, when he was crossing Prince Edward Road West near the junction of Kadoorie Avenue, Apple Daily reported.

Liu, who was also pushing a trolley at the time, was unconscious when he landed and a passer-by called the police.
The severely injured Liu was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation shows that a taxi may have been involved because of closed-circuit television footage.
Hong Kong Police released video from a nearby building that captured a cabbie stopping his taxi and checking the headlamp before leaving the scene.
Lui's daughter said on Sunday that she hoped that the driver involved in the accident could come forward, Metro Daily reported.
The special investigation traffic team one from Kowloon West is handling the case.
