Japanese banker falls from Hong Kong flat suicide suspected


(MENAFN- Asia Times) A 27-year-old Japanese banker is believed to have jumped to his death from a residential apartment in Sai Ying Pun on the west of Hong Kong Island on Thursday.

The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ worker was found dead outside Soho189 on Wilmer Street at 7am on Thursday, Apple Daily reported.

His girlfriend told Metro Daily that he had been upset because of pressure at work. He had been working at the Hong Kong branch of the lender since last May.

Police found no evidence of foul play, nor did they discover any suicide note and the case is still under investigation.
