Kuwait's Interior, Foreign and Defense Ministers depart to Riyadh


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 27 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah departed Thursday to Riyadh.

The Kuwaiti Ministers left to attend the Interior, Foreign and Defense Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States' meeting due today. It would be be chaired by Saudi Crown Prince and Interior Minister Prince Mohammad bin Nayef.

A delegation of senior officials in the Interior, Foreign and Defense Ministries accompanied the Ministers, along with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The officials were seen off at the airport by Acting Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Jamal Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Assistant Foreign Minister for Protocols' Affairs, Ambassador Dhari Ajran Al-Ajran, Assistant Undersecretary of Interior Ministry for Security Border Checkpoints, Major General Mansour Al-Awadhi and Head of the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister's Office, Sheikh Rakan Salem Al-Sabah.
