Singapore's economic growth forecast to stay modest this year


(MENAFN) The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said Singapore's whole gross domestic product (GDP) growth is estimated to maintain modest during 2017.

Additionally, MAS further announced the economy is expected to boost by 1% to 3% in the year.

According to the data, the recovery in the global economy is likely to support the country"s trade-related unit.

Never the less, MAS posted the outlook for the global economy has been optimistic as global capital expenditure started to increase amid developing business sentiment.
