(MENAFN) The value of UAE projects received increased by a solid 42.6 percent quarter on quarter in the first quarter of this year, with both Dubai and Abu Dhabi viewing notable increase.
Additionally, the value of projects awarded was above the two-year trend level and more than a moderate 2.1 percent years on year in the quarter.
Meanwhile, constructions projects continued to control whole UAE awards, up 25.6 percent year on year and there was also a yearly increase in oil and power projects in the cited period.
Moreover, projects linked to Expo 2020, real estate and retail continued to dominate awards in the quarter, while USD3bn of projects have been given in the second quarter.
