(MENAFN) China to launch first domestic aircraft carrier, joining one existing bought second-hand, although concerns increased against North Korean and worries about Beijing's assertiveness in the South China Sea.
China's state media reported that military experts said that the carrier designed in China and built in Dalian, is not expected to enter service until 2020.
Also, state-media agencies said that the carrier is constructed fully as the momentum, power and other main systems.
However, the vice chairman of China's powerful Central Military Commission had led the launching ceremony, and during the celebration, a bottle of champagne was broken on the bow.
