(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Petroleum (QP) hosted a farewell reception yesterday in honour of Nabeel Mohamed al-Buenain, who was recently appointed as the chief executive of Qatari Diar Real Estate Company.
The reception was attended by QP president and chief executive Saad Sherida al-Kaabi and other senior officials.
During the event, al-Kaabi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to al-Buenain for his 27 years of service with QP as vice-president of the HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) & Business Services Directorate.
Al-Buenain joined QP in 1990 as a student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering in the United States.
After graduation, he started his career as an engineer and took up a variety of professional and leadership roles over the years, enabling him to gain extensive experience in oil and gas operations and major infrastructure development.
