Kuwaiti oil price down 42 cents to USD 48.75 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 25 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went down by 42 cents to USD 48.75 per barrel Monday after being at USD 49.17 pb last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday.

The price at the global level was down Monday due to Russia's eagerness to increase its production if the OPEC-led reduction of production deal was not extended.

The price of the Brent crude was down by 36 cents to USD 51.60 per barrel, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate which went down by 39 cents to USD 49.23 pb. (end) gta
