Oman- H E Harthi inaugurates Indian School Wadi Kabir International


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Indian School Wadi Kabir International (ISWKi) was officially inaugurated at a ceremony held on Thursday. The event was held under the patronage of H E Dr Hamood al Harthi, Undersecretary for Education and Curriculum Development in the Ministry of Education.

The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Sheikh Kanaksi Khimji, eminent members of Banyan Merchant Community, Wilson George, chairman, Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, the management committee of ISWKi, senior members of ISWK, teachers, students, and parents of students who have been admitted to ISWKi. Speaking on the occasion, H E Dr Harthi said, 'I am happy about the start of ISWK's international branch. We are always here to help the management of Indian schools when they need any help. I wish the school all the best in its future endeavours.'

Later, H E Dr Harthi took a tour of the campus facilities. He visited all classes from KGI to Grade VII and also rooms for art, dance, music and the library. The school has spacious, well-lit and ventilated classrooms enabled with iPad and Apple TV as digital support. It also has science and computer labs. Each class will have up to 25 students.
