IMF's Lagarde warns of euro dislocation should Le Pen win

(MENAFN- Asia Times) The head of the International Monetary Fund, and French voter, Christine Lagarde, warned on Thursday against electing anti-European Union presidential candidate Marine Le Pen in Sunday's election.

'It would certainly unveil major disorder and the risk of dislocation,' Lagarde said during an interview with CNBC.

Largarde went on to say that the European Union 'has protected us from the horrors of war, and we need to keep that in mind even for the younger generations which have not known any of that.'
