More about this loan Your loan will be used to support a group of village borrowers in purchasing TerraClear water filter sets through flexible financing. Please note that this loan will be used to provide villagers with needed goods, as opposed to cash or financial credit.
A majority of TerraClear's customers cannot afford to pay the full upfront cost of the water filter. As a result TerraClear has created a village sales model that will allow groups of customers to pay small installments for up to 11 months. No interest or fees are charged for the first 4 months. All villagers who require more time to repay are charged a small per visit fee on a monthly basis so that TerraClear can cover the costs of providing this service.
Please note that due to the flexible nature of this repayment plan, loan schedules will appear as a single repayment at the end of the loan term. However, TerraClear will collect repayments on and return funds to Kiva lenders on a monthly basis.
