(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) launched a recall campaign in coordination with Saud Bahwan Automotive to recall 591 Daihatsu Gran Max and Terios models 2012 to 2014 recently.
The recall has been launched for 553 Daihatsu Gran Max vehicles with chassis numbers from MHKTC31EXDK012267 to MHKVC31F8FK603783 and 38 Daihatsu Terios with chassis numbers from MHKGC21P6CK004257 to MHKGC21P6CK004294.
The recall was issued due to a probable crack in the petrol pipe due to high temperature. The crack in the pipeline may cause the petrol to leak during filling or in a semi-vertical position. The company will change the pipeline according to the Daihatsu Motor Corporation Technical Instructions.
