Oman, Jordan agree on visa exemption


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Dead Sea- Oman and Jordan on Monday signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of the diplomatic, special, official and service passports. The agreement comes within the framework of the good relations between the two countries in various spheres.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of Oman by H E Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, whilst it was signed from the Jordanian side by Ayman al Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

H E Alawi said that the signing of the agreement is an affirmation of the excellent relations that exist between the two countries. Safadi said that the agreement will contribute in expanding avenues of cooperation between Oman and Jordan.
