ABU DHABI, 28th March, 2017 (WAM) -- ADNOC Distribution has announced the opening of Al Rowdah ADNOC Xpress station, which is the seventh station of its kind in Abu Dhabi city and its suburban areas. The new station is located on Delma Street in the area between Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and Al Bateen Street in Abu Dhabi.
The opening of this new station is the latest stage in the implementation of phase one of ADNOC Distribution's plan to open 10 such stations to serve the most congested areas of the city and its suburbs. ADNOC Xpress stations have a longitudinal ground plan featuring one island with either two or three dispensers that offer only two fuel varieties. Stations with two dispensers span an area of 600 square metres, and those with three dispensers cover an area of 800 square metres.
Speaking on the occasion, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Distribution, said, "At ADNOC Distribution, our top priority is to bring our wide range of high-quality products and services closer to our customers. With the opening of Al Rowdah ADNOC Xpress station, the ADNOC Xpress network now offers customers seven convenient locations. The completion of phase one of the expansion will see the addition of three more stations in Shakhbout City, Khalifa City and on Al Falah Street in Abu Dhabi.
