Jordan, KSA discuss cooperation in transport domain


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 27 (Petra) -- Minister of Transport, Hussein al-Soub, Monday discussed with Saudi counterpart, Suleiman bin Abdullah al-Hamdan, ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and Saudi Arabia in areas of land, maritime and air transport.

The discussed prospects for granting Jordanian drivers travelling to Saudi Arabia multiple-trip visas and extend the stay period for Jordanian trucks to three weeks. They also tackled the impact of raising visa fees on Jordanian drivers shipping agricultural and industrial products to or through Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi minister pledged to look into all issues raised in a manner that serves both countries' interests.
