(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) will display an awareness poster to educate consumers on their rights with regard to telecom services at COMEX 2017. The exhibition will be held from March 28 to April 1.
TRA has designed this poster as part of its responsibility towards safeguarding beneficiaries' interests in the telecom sector, stated a press release.
The awareness poster displays a number of rights set forth in the Telecommunications Regulatory Act, such as the right to privacy, the right to receive proof of service application, the right to have a copy of the Service Agreement and other basic rights that beneficiary needs to be aware of before using telecom services.
The event will also provide a platform for TRA to present a number of awareness programmes, such as fraud and cybercrimes awareness campaign, child online protection, beneficiary's contact channels and the procedures for submitting complaints.
