S. Korea to allocate 113.5 bln-won to assist bio startups


(MENAFN) South Korea stated that it aims to launch a 113.5 billion-won fund in order to develop startups and venture firms in the bio unit.

According to the scheme, the fund is expected to be floated to support young jobseekers in releasing modern startups and improve new bio technology.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning added it aims to cooperate with the Small and Medium Business Administration and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to raise the fund.

The fund will focus on forming infrastructure and help them in research and development (R&D), the ministry also marked.
