Qatar's trade surplus hits QR12.3bn in Feb


(MENAFN) Qatar's foreign merchandise trade balance showed a surplus of QR12.3bn in Feb, an increase of almost QR5.2bn or 74 percent compared to Feb 2016.

Furthermore, the trade balance increases by almost QR1.3bn or 12.1 percent compared to Jan this year said the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics.

In Feb this year, the whole exports of goods amounted to around QR20.5bn, introducing an increase of 22.5 percent compared to Feb last year.

Meanwhile, increase was seen in Petroleum oils & oils from bituminous minerals (crude) that hit almost QR3.5bn, posting an increase of 46.8 percent.
