Arab League Summit to focus on Lebanon

(MENAFN) All eyes will be on Lebanon's amid the Arab League Summit in Aqaba Jordan, while its positions will be observed by member states, especially KSA.

Through an emergency foreign ministers meeting in 2016, Lebanese Foreign Minister, refused to condemn attacks on Saudi missions in Iran in early 2016, which made a huge diplomatic crisis.

However, a planned visit by Saudi king Salman to Lebanon was cancelled after Aoun praised Hezbollah and backed the militia's right to bear arms alongside the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Moreover, Hariri will accompany Aoun amid the summit, in an unprecedented move interpreted as trying to cushion any potential fallout.
