(MENAFN) Dubai Supreme Council of Energy reviewed the progress of its key initiatives that help the UAE Vision 2021 and the Dubai Plan 2021 to make a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.
Moreover, the Dubai Green Fund was launched to support investment in green projects and foster Dubai's position as a global hub for the green economy.
Meanwhile, the fund will focus on projects related to the retrofitting of buildings, boosting energy and water efficiency and solar power projects.
Additionally, it has allocated USD27.2bn to confirm the necessary funding tools for short and long-term loans with reduced interest to support the economic development of Dubai.
