Jordan- FM meets with Kuwaiti counterpart


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Washington, March 23 (Petra) -- Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi, and First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Thursday stressed keenness to further boost relations between the two brotherly countries in various domains.

During their meeting in Washington on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference of the International Coalition Against Daesh, the two officials said that the upcoming meeting of the Joint Higher Committee scheduled to be held this year in Amman will offer a platform to discuss steps to be taken by members states to further boost cooperation mainly in the economic and investment sectors.

Meeting between the two officials also tackled the latest regional development, mainly the Palestinian issue, the Syrian crisis, as well as preparations for the upcoming Arab summit due in Amman next week.

Safadi and Al-Sabah stressed the need to enhance Arab joint cooperation and coordination in order to address common challenges and serve the interests of Arab issues and both countries.
