China, Britain vow to increase financial cooperation


(MENAFN) Officials from China and Britain revealed that the two sides have expressed the importance of boosting bilateral financial cooperation.

The deputy general director of the International Department of the People's Bank of China (PBOC) posted the cooperation of China-UK financial infrastructures is likely to assist adding better services.

Moreover, the deputy director also added the British financial unit was "open..., sophisticated and visionary" and that it was "no coincidence that the Bank of England was the first major Western bank to sign a swap agreement with the PBOC."
