China growth to slow by 6.5pct this year, 6.3pct in 2018

(MENAFN) China's economic growth will slow to reach 6.5 percent his year and cool more to 6.3 percent in 2018, while exports will pick up as global demand strengthens.

Accordingly, internally the biggest risk is the accumulated and fast pace of growth of credit both in terms of shadow banking and the banking system.

The country's corporate debt is almost 175 percent of GDP, one of the highest in emerging market economies, with state-owned enterprises accounting for 75pct.

Furthermore, more modest target will give policymakers more room to tackle debt risks and push amid painful reforms.
