Climate Change-focused Media Organizations: Climate Scorecard Releases Report with the Top Broadcast, Print and Online Media Outlets in the Top 25 Greenhouse Gas Emitting Countries


(MENAFNEditorial) MILTON, MA Climate Scorecard compiled acomprehensive report on media outletsin the Top 25 Greenhouse Gas Emitting Countries. This critical work provides direct ways to contact media globally that have the largest reach and impact in climate change news.

Climate Scorecard is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that tracks the efforts of implementing The Paris Agreement in the top 25 greenhouse gas emitting countries. Recent developments in many of these countries call into question their ability to meet the provisions set by The Paris Agreement. Politics and economics are making the ability to implement change questionable.

The work of environmental media in countries around the world is central to creating public awareness about climate change. Environmental media also provide important information and analysis about policies and events that are shaping each country's response to the Paris Agreement.

Climate Scorecard's latest report highlights these outlets and provides background and context to the varying degrees of freedom allowed the press in different countries globally, including South Korea, Turkey and Russia.
