Qatar Senior Open: Nasser of Bahrain wins as Qatar's Abdulaziz finishes third

Nasser Yacoob of Bahrain won the Qatar Senior Open Golf Championship 2017 in a play-off with compatriot Adnan Mubarak, at the Doha Golf Club on Saturday.
Both Yacoob and Mubarak, were tied in the first place forcing a play off.
After two rounds of playoffs, Nasser Yacoub won the first place while Qatar's Abdulaziz Al Boainin, clinched the third place
In the ladies section, Tasnim Kazi topped, followed by Teresa Joe Gow while Beth San Jose came third.
Fahad Nasser Al Naimi, the Secretary General of Qatar Golf Association (QGA) and Mohammed Faisal Al Naimi, the QGA Executive Director crowned the top winners.
The QGA and Doha Golf Club has thanked Ammico Contracting for been the main sponsor of the tournament for the second year in a row and also thanked Gulf Lights, QALCO, JJ Infrastructure and AL Mohhana for their continuous support.
The two-day championship brought together 120 golfers from GCC nations, Asia and local expatriates in Qatar. The event received an overwhelming response from both participants and attendees.
