Vietnam's steel imports value from China to increase in 2 months


(MENAFN) Vietnam's General Department of Customs posted that the country's imports of Chinese steel have boosted hard in value over the January-February period.

The data also showed China stayed Vietnam's biggest steel supplier with a total of 1.53 million tons exported in the cited period.

However, South Korea topped second place with about 304,000 tons of steel shipped toward Vietnam among January-February.

During the first two months of the current year, Vietnam has spent a total of USD1.49 billion on importing 2.74 million tons of steel.
