Iran aims USD3bn deals with foreign auto firms


(MENAFN) Iran is projected to finish six major deals worth USD3bn in the automotive sector with foreign investors by March 20.

Accordingly, the contracts will mark a turning point in the auto-manufacturing industry as the nation will get access to cars with state-of-the-art quality.

In addition, a 70mn euros contract had been inked between Iran and Belgium to produce automatic gearboxes in Iran.

Moreover, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Org and Renault of France confirmed on USD900mn project.
