Real estate sales in Kuwait fall at USD660.4mn


(MENAFN) The real estate market in Kuwait softened in Jan, as monthly sales dropped back below USD660.4mn, while the value of sales fell to KD179.5mn.

Furthermore, Jan's price performance indicated more stabilization in the residential sector and convergence of trends across sectors.

In addition, Jan KD sales reached KD78.4mn on 240 transactions, while KS sales and transactions were both down 13 percent and 4 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, the NBK residential home price index reached 151.4, almost flat for the cited month, but down by 12 percent year-on-years.
