(MENAFN) The state-run Habanos Corporation stated that international Cuban cigar sales have hit USD445 million during that past year, rose by 5% from 2015.
However, Habanos Vice President of development posted the growth in sales marks a decent signal for Cuban cigars market.
The official further added that he has credited the sales to the steady expansion in traditional markets such as Spain, France, Germany and Britain, and newfound consumers in emerging markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America as well as the Asia-Pacific area.
