(MENAFN) China's consumer price index is projected to increase by almost 1.4 percent in Feb from a year earlier, as proclaimed the Bank of Communications.
However, a decline in vegetable, egg and aquatic product prices may drag down the Feb inflation, as food prices account for nearly one-third of the prices used.
Additionally, the growth of food prices in the cited month will decrease 1.8 percentage points from last month.
On the other hand, China's CPI increased 2.5 percent year-on-year in Jan, up from the 2.1 percent increase in December.
