Jordanian pilot returns home following plane crash in Saudi Arabia


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 25 (Petra)--Jordanian pilot, First Lieutenant Adnan Naeem Abdulaziz Nabas arrived at Marka Military Airport in Amman last night aboard a Saudi military aircraft after surviving a plane crash in Saudi Arabia.

The pilot managed to eject before his F-16 fighter jet crashed on Friday while taking part in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition operations in Yemen.

Upon arrival at the airport, the pilot was received by a number of officers from the Armed Forces.

The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army voiced thanks and appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Saudi King Salam Bin Abdul Aziz as well as the Saudi army for their honorable stance, and for providing aid and facilities to the pilot until his safe return to Jordan.
