Hackers steal KD 5million of clients from three local banks

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: Clients of three local banks are said to have lost approximately KD 5 million when hackers succeeded into breaking into their accounts, a charge denied by the banking sources, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting a reliable source. According to the source, when scores of clients filed complaints with the banks, they were reportedly told that the complaints should be filed with the police stations.

Wanted in KD 1m debt: Personnel from the Sentences Enforcement Department have arrested a Kuwaiti who was wanted by law for failing to pay a huge debt, believed to be almost one million dinars, reports Al-Anba daily. It has been reported the citizen was caught after police set a trap for him. The suspect sensing police presence attempted to escape on foot, but he was chased and arrested.
