ABU DHABI, 18th February, 2017 (WAM) -- Emirates News Agency (WAM) is extensively covering the International Defence Exhibition and Conference 2017 (IDEX), through an integrated media team that will broadcast live from its media centre at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), according to a UAE official.
The news service will constantly cover the unfolding sessions at IDEX, and provide reports, photos and videos to Arab and international media directly from the event, said Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Executive Director of WAM.
The WAM digital team will also broadcast news and information via WAM's social media platforms, he added, noting the official agency has prepared an integrated action plan to cover sessions during IDEX.
"The team, which includes editors, correspondents, photographers, engineers and technicians, will be at the ADNEC," he said.
Al Rayysi said, "WAM is keen to highlight the achievements, and events hosted by the UAE, including the main events that involve major international defence companies and senior officials."
