Pakistan refused to participate in a meeting sponsored by UN scheduled earlier today.
Boycott of this meeting is part of an ongoing protest by Pakistan since Senate Deputy Chairman, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, was refused a US visa.
Haideri, leader of JUI-F party is a coalition partner in Nawaz Sharif's government; he is known to support "jihad" in Kashmir and a Taliban government in Afghanistan.

President Trump has signed an executive order banning citizens from seven Muslim countries from stepping foot in the United States.
For starters, the ban is for 90 days however according to senior White House officials, this ordeis the first step towards a broader ban.
White House official reiterated that the administration would be "very aggressive" to fulfill its "mandate to keep America safe."
Who can no longer enter the US? Millions banned
134 million citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries - Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen - are banned from entering US for 90 days.
In a 2016 law regarding immigration visas, these countries were referred to as "countries of concern."
Members of international organizations and diplomats are exempted from this ban.
The order clearly indicates possibility of a wider ban in the future.
