Saudi Arabia confirms USD24.5bn to achieve Vision 2030


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has confirmed fiscal support for the environment, water and agriculture sectors worth USD24.5bn to meet their goals under Vision 2030 economic plan.

Accordingly, the minister had received support from the government to achieve 16 strategic goals which are in line with the economic transformation program Vision 2030.

Moreover, Vision 2030 plans to spread the economy by cutting dependence on oil incomes, while the National Transformation Plan listed spending worth 13.94bn riyals.

The kingdom aims to reduce electricity and water subsidies by USD53bn and cut non-oil subsidies by 20 percent by 2020.
