Egypt to sign 4bn euro deal for healthcare city


(MENAFN) The General Authority for the Suez Canal Zone announced that it aims to sign a deal to establish the first healthcare city with an English-Spanish alliance next month at 4bn euros worth.

Meanwhile, the authority is revising the legal provisions of the deal in preparation for its signing, while the city is located on an area of 4mn square meters.

Accordingly, the authority has received investment applications from industrial development firms in order to develop 22mn square meters in the coming period.

In addition, the whole deals for Ain Sokhna amount to 25.6mn square meters over 13 months, compared to 2mn sqm over 12 years.
