UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development, Malawi envoy discuss cooperation

DUBAI, 23rd January, 2017 (WAM) -- Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al-Nuaimi, the UAE Minister of Infrastructure Development, met with Wilfred Ali, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Malawi to the UAE, and discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields.

The meeting, held on Monday at the Ministry's headquarters in Dubai, was also attended by Andrew Chifukwa, Vice Consul General of Malawi in Dubai, and Eng. Aisha Al Midfa, Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry for Housing and Urban Planning.

The two Malawian officials were also briefed on infrastructure development plans in the UAE.

The UAE minister lauded the bilateral ties between the two friendly countries and stressed the importance of exchanging experiences in the infrastructure space, given their effective role in promoting institutional work for both sides.

The Malawian envoy praised the development being witnessed by the UAE in the field of infrastructure and housing, and said his country is keen to strengthen bilateral relations with the UAE as it is one of the world's leading countries in all fields.
