MUKALLA, 23rd January, 2017 (WAM) -- An Emirati aid ship carrying medical equipment and foodstuff arrived today at the Yemeni port of Mukalla to support health services in the Governorate of Hadramaut.
Abdullah Al Musafri, Head of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority team in Hadramaut, said the shipment was part of the sealift being carried out by the authority as the UAE continues to assist Yemen.
The people of Hadramaut praised the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the UAE to ease the plight of Yemeni people.
Earlier this month, a ship carrying maintenance equipment for Hadramaut's dilapidated central power generators and power stations arrived at the port of Mukalla.
