(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 23 (KUNA) -- Human development is crucial to ensure efficiency and adaptness in the workplace, Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Services Yasser Abul said on Monday.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a ceremony to mark the opening of a Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB) practice center, Abul noted that the banking workforce is the cornerstone of the financial sector, adding that the new KCB center will allow employees the chance to hone their skills.
Deputy Chairman and CEO of KCB Salah Al-Mudhaf touted the center as a focal point of KCB's strategy to seek increased human development, noting that the launch of the center is part of efforts to cater to the needs of the nation's youth.
On the edifice, he said it contains sprawling halls equipped with cutting-edge technology, adding that KCB has been conducting a study that aims to enhance the bank's financial prowess.
On a related note, Al-Mudhaf spoke of the spike in residential demand, which behooves KCB to be fully prepared to finance such a sharp increase in requests for residencies.
