S. Korea's Netmarble aims to expand its gaming market share

(MENAFN) S. Korea's mobile game firm, Netmarble Games Corp. is seeking to expand its share of the gaming market in North America and Europe.

Furthermore, the firm wants to place amid the top 10 in mobile games in China and Japan, while the global game market's wave of M& A will continue to the first half of 2018.

Netmarble, which valued at USD12.3bn in a Jan 17 report, will look to the basic public offering to build up funds for mergers and acquisitions and other investments.

However, the need for a bigger war chest was noticed when it lost out last year to a Chinese consortium involving Alibaba's Jack Ma that offered USD4.4bn in cash to buy Caesar's online unit.
