(MENAFN) Gas demand is increasing and will continue to grow for the coming 25 years, while between 2015 and 2040 global gas demand will grow to reach 1.6 percent per year.
Accordingly, gas demand is set to grow in every region, whereas the bulk of the extra gas demand will come from non-OCED Asia, North American and the Middle East.
In addition, the recent global gas trade shows 30 percent of all global gas marketed production, which will remain at the level by 2040 in Asia and North & Latin America.
Meanwhile, primary energy demand will increase by 30 percent between 2015 and 2040 and it will grow by 1 percent per annum.
