Bad loans ratio for Spanish banks' drops to 9.23%


(MENAFN) According to data released by Bank of Spain, Spanish Bank's non-performing loans as a percentage of a total credit recorded 9.227% in November.

The ratio had hit lowest rate since May 2012, as the Bank of Spain said bad debts within the Spanish banking system stood at 118.235 billion euros (USD126.347b) by the end of November 2016.

Whereas total credit portfolio stood at 1.281 trillion euros, as Spanish bank's bad loan ratio peaked at 13.6% in December of 2013.
