Temporary ban on import of live birds, hatching eggs, chicks from England

Riyadh, Rabi'II 19, 1438, January 17, 2017, SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has imposed a temporary ban on the import of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks from England (Lincolnshire) after receiving a warning bulletin from World Organization for Animal Health on breaking out of high virulent bird flu in England.
Various animal quarantines at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ports and other relevant governmental agencies have been directed to take the necessary action in this regard.
