China's ODI jumps by 44.1%in 2016


(MENAFN) Official data posted that China's non-financial outbound direct investment (ODI) has boosted by 44.1% year on year to reach USD170.11 billion in the past year.

Moreover, the Ministry of Commerce said that Chinese companies have spent in 7.961 overseas enterprises across 164 countries and areas in 2016.

The Ministry of Commerce added the outbound investment to countries involved in the initiative hit USD14.53 billion in a year earlier.

However, Chinese firms have especially focused to the real economy and emerging industries for outbound investment.
