UAE foreign trade hits USD354bn in 2016


(MENAFN) The UAE's foreign trade is predicted to reach USD354bn in 2016, as stated the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

Accordingly, the trade finance has increased in the DIFC over current years, while the report shows that in general trade finance is conducted satisfactory.

In addition, there is an increased focus globally, on trade-based money laundering risks from global groups like the Financial Action Task Force.

Moreover, the authority committed to maintain the highest global standards in the DIFC, given the importance of trade to the region.
