Oman Livestock Company to operate two slaughterhouses in Amerat and Seeb


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Muscat Municipality has signed an agreement with Oman Livestock Company to operate slaughterhouses in the wilayats of Amerat and Seeb.

Eng Mohsen bin Mohammed al Sheikh, chairman of Muscat Municipality and Eng Ammar bin Amer al Sulaimani, director general of Oman Livestock Company signed the agreement. Muscat Municipality assigned this agreement to the company in accordance with the existing bidding system.

The agreement stipulates that Muscat Municipality has leased the company to manage and operate the two slaughterhouses for a period of five years starting February. The contract ends in January 2022 and it is renewable with the consent of Muscat Municipality under new conditions.

The agreement includes hiring of 36 sheds in Seeb and four in Amerat and operation of the slaughterhouses seven days a week.
