Deals in Turkey may remain little changed this year

(MENAFN) Deals in Turkey's project-finance market may change despite the government's efforts to invest in roads, energy and hospitals in the face of slowing economic growth.

Moreover, the value of project-finance deals will remain little changed this year from the USD13.2bn of loans offered in 2016.

However, deterioration in the country's economy is being joined by political instability, security risks and a currency which has dropped by 20 percent.

In addition, USD5bn project will build a network of roads, involving a suspension bridge, across the Dardanelles strait, hospitals being built amid public-private ties.
